TANTALUS RESORT LODGE, Whistler

Tantalus Resort Lodge provides suites with a fully stocked kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and balcony. One-Bedroom Suites have one bathroom and a dining room for six. Two-Bedroom Suites have two bathrooms, a dining table for six, and a living room. Two-Bedroom Loft Suites include a rooftop deck overlooking Rainbow and Sprout Mountains, a balcony facing the forest, and vaulted ceilings. Two-Bedroom Bunk Bed Suites accommodate a maximum of four adults and four children.

Guests can play tennis or volleyball. The lodge has 4 acres of landscaped grounds with picnic and playground areas. A barrel sauna, hot tubs, and a heated pool are also available. From November to April, a complimentary ski shuttle operates daily. Secure storage areas and rental shops are located throughout the resort.

Tantalus Resort Lodge is a 5-minute walk to Whistler Village, the central gathering place. Whistler Blackcomb offers over 8,100 acres of terrain, including 12 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, and 200 marked trails. The PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola connects Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. Whistler is home to hikes, trails, walks, and climbs. Guests can book snowmobile tours, aerial obstacle courses, and whitewater rafting. Ziplining is available on Cougar Mountain.

Whistler is rated Canada's number one golf destination by Golf Digest and features four championship designer courses. Guests can play at Whistler Golf Club or Big Sky Golf and Country Club. The area provides 42km of trails in Callaghan Country and 55km of trails at Whistler Olympic Park. Other options include sleigh rides through wooded trails and bridge jumping over the Cheakamus River.

Tantalus has covered parking for vehicles under 6' 6' in height. On-site laundry is available for $4 per load. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Luggage storage is available. Wireless internet is complimentary. The Mountain View Conference room accommodates groups up to 80 guests and includes audio-visual equipment.
